FAQ’S
HoW DO I ACCESS THE WORKOUTS?
Once you have purchased the program, you’ll receive instant access to sign up for the app, where your workouts will be located. From the day you sign up until the first day of the program, you’ll have access to your testing workouts, which ideally you will complete before Day 1 of the program (we test at the start and end of every seasonal quarter so you can track your progress). Your scheduled workouts in your program will start on a Monday, and from Day 1 you’ll be able to see all your seasonal workouts.
WHAT TRAINING STYLE IS IN THE PROGRAM?
Over the 5 days of workouts per week, you’ll see a combination of: End Range Strength Training, Plyometrics, Hypertrophy and Conditioning.
HOW LONG DO THE WORKOUTS LAST?
Most workouts last between 45-60 minutes.
Alternative, on demand body weight workouts are available if you’re on a time crunch.
DO I NEED GYM ACCESS FOR THIS PROGRAM?
To get the most out of this program, you should have gym access. However, if you are on holiday and don’t have gym access for example, there are over 10 bodyweight programs available to swap out for.
Also, if you don’t have access to a particular machine, see the video description for alternative options as well as progressions and regressions.
WHAT EXTRAS DO I GET?
Monthly 1:1 Check In call (optional)
Add On Sessions: 10-20minute hypertrophy sessions to add to the end of your workout if your goal is to build muscle faster.
On-Contract program available for when you are working - these workouts that are designed to work around your show schedule.
Bodyweight workouts for when you can’t get into the gym

Access to hundreds of recipes on our app.
On Demand Dance Class Videos so you can keep up your technique when you can’t always get to class.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROGRAM LAST FOR?
The Athletic Dancer Program is a seasonal program that will continue until cancelled.
Once your first season (12 weeks) is complete, you will be automatically transferred onto the next season.
A minimum commitment of 8 weeks is required for any new member. To cancel your membership, please email hayley@athleticdancecompany.com with at least 2 weeks notice before your next payment is due.
WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?
The Athletic Dancer Program is specifically designed for professional, and pre-professional dancers, however is also suited towards: full time dancers, high school aged dancers, retired dancers, jazz dancers, musical theatre dancers, ballet dancers, commercial dancers, actors, & singers. The program is not gender specific, and benefits anyone.
Do I NEED TO DO ALL 5 DAYS?
For the best results, it’s recommended to do all 5 days of your program as strictly as possible, while noting that at least 1 day recovery per week is optimal for athletes recovery and progress.
It’s also important to know that 4 days is better than 3, 3 is better than 2, etc... prioritise the hypertrophy training sessions when you can.
What RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM USING THE PROGRAM?
By incorporating strength training into your routine, you can expect to see increased strength, flexibility, power, agility, mobility and speed in your dance skills/technique. Depending on your starting body composition, you should also see change in body composition (Less body fat, more muscle mass), you’ll reduce your risk of injury and you are increasing the longevity of your career.
What IF I DON’T KNOW HOW TO DO AN EXERCISE?
Every single exercise has a detailed demo video. Progressions and regressions are also provided.
